Georgina Crouch’s work spans digital photography, paintings on mixed media and canvas, and shifts across various subjects, Working in black and white has always remained a constant for her. She considers her images as emerging into the light, figures being discovered as they rise out of shadow. Her practice is rooted in portraiture and has explored themes of vulnerability, intimacy, corporeal pareidolia, and the power of negative space.
